Introduction

You will be visiting some of the sites of the most famous Circus Big Tops in the world! You will be seeing some great photographs and reading all about some fantastic and exciting performers - both human and animal stars! Enjoy your trip around the world of circus and take the opportunity to look at circus schools and the skills that you must learn to be a circus performer!

  1. Name the circus that has also been knowm as 'The Greatest Show on Earth.'
  2. List three of the circus acts that you can see in the Garden Brothers' circus.
  3. Write down 'Todays Ringling Fun Fact' about the history of the circus.
  4. Write down how you think it would be like to work in a circus.
  5. What does the ringmaster say to the fans and describe what he look like in the photo?
  6. Read these circus jokes. Can you make up some of your own? Write them down.
  7. Name a performer and write down some facts about them.
  8. Choose five things you would like to do at circus school and list them down.
