Introduction

Computers are a great way for us to learn new things and of course it is exciting and interesting. Look at the pictures and answer the questions to find out all about camping. 

Questions

  1. Click on each picture to look at them. Look again at the middle picture on the top line. How many people do you think are camping here? From this list, which foods could be in the pots? spaghetti, pizza, soup, pop corn, cake, rice, biscuits.
  2. Look through these camp pictures. What season do you think it is? They are doing some fun games. What other activities could they do on camp?
  3. List 5 things that might be packed on the car roof.
  4. What do you think is cooking? Discuss 3 fire safety rules to remember when camping and why?
  5. Name 2 things that this man might be looking for? What does he need these things for? What is he using to help him see?
  6. Descibe what these people might do around the campfire.
  7. YUM! This looks good.Plan a camping dinner. What will you eat?
  8. This boy is helping to do an important camping job. List other jobs that need to be done when you are camping.
  9. Write some describing words to tell how Dad might be feeling. What might the scary story have been about? How can you tell?
  10. Are there any animals that you might see when you are camping? Which ones might be dangerous? Why?
  11. Name some feelings these people might have after their camping trip. What activities do you think these people might have done on their camping trip? How can you tell?
