GRAPHICS
Graphics, such as the one
above, can be created on the page.
For ÔtrueÕ placement of text
and graphics, it is best to create web content in tables. Tables should not take up 100% of the
width of the page. This is because
not all screens are the same size.
80% is advisable at the optimum width (Right Click on table, Table
Properties, place tick in Preferred Width, Measure in Percent, key in
80%). Borders should be
taken off (Format, Borders and Shading, Table/Cell). Cells may be individually shaded to effect. Tables can be centered on the page by
right clicking in the table, Table Properties, Centre. Cells can be merged and split as
required. Also, tables can be
created inside tables for effect.
